All of the places I’ve ever loved have been wild. My grandparents’ acres of eucalyptus and orange ranches in the rural California hills. My childhood in the the sun-drenched Santa Fe desert. My remote Colorado hometown nestled at the feet of 14,000 foot snowy peaks. My current home tucked in the dense pine forest. Even the teeming chaos of Bangkok where I lived for a short time: the wild is in my blood.
